Vital Ports organises a roundtable discussion on Sustainable Port Development at the Amsterdam International Water Week. Pioneers in the international water sector will discuss leading principles for sustainable port development in a changing world. Core of the discussion is the notion that impacts of ports are significant and diverse, but so are the opportunities to make a change for the better. Sea level rise and sustainable ambitions are two strong drivers to make use of those opportunities. Roundtable participants will be challenged to discuss how ports, held tight by vested interests, can convert their game to a sustainable future. The roundtable will be held on November 4, at the RAI venue Amsterdam.
